Impulsive Decisions

After having watched BCS (Better Call Saul) again I notice how very impulsive Kim is. I feel like she makes decisions too hastily without thinking them through. I feel she quit her job at HHM too soon and she jumped into business with Jimmy instead of heavily considering the job at Schweikart and Cokely. I feel like even after she went back to Schweikart and Cokely and pursued their bank department and took over Mesa Verde there, she quit pretty impulsively. She also was very impulsive in quitting the law altogether at the end of the series.

I consider myself a pretty careful person. Just thinking about Kim and her decisions, I don’t think I’ve made many life decisions like that impulsively. I think I’ve liked the idea of making big changes but I’ve always thought them through.

In fact probably the biggest decision that might have been slightly impulsive is moving to Portugal. I’ve liked the idea for many years about moving out of the country but it never really hit me (the consequences, the process, the life change) until we actually moved here. Now that we have, I’m really glad we did and I’m very happy.
